My mission is to provide my students with the most meaningful, thoughtful, and enjoyable musical experience through piano lessons. Drawing upon my extensive training with distinguished music educators from the renowned Juilliard School and Manhattan School of Music, I firmly believe that inspiration is a teacher's most precious gift to their students. I focus on a strong technical foundation while cultivating a deep sensitivity to the nuances of sound.
Performance is an important part of music education and students in my piano studio participate in bi-yearly student recitals. My students have performed in the Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center as winners of International Piano Competitions for young artists, and have been recipients of ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) and RCM (Royal Conservatory of Music) certifications in both Piano and Theory.
I recommend a starting minimum age of 5 years old for piano lessons. While my primary focus is on nurturing the growth of intermediate to advanced students, for those who are already on the path of musical development or looking to further their expertise, I do make exceptions on rare occasions. I am open to accepting complete beginners if a student demonstrates exceptional commitment and determination.
